Here’s What’s Happening at Temple Sinai
  • Secure Community Network Trainings
    Practical in-person sessions to help keep us safe in daily life and in our building. Attend one or both:
·         TONIGHT! Thursday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m.
·         Thursday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m.
  • Important instructions for this Friday night:
Our neighboring high school has a football game. If you arrive at Temple Sinai AFTER 7 p.m. you MUST use the Coral Trace entrance.
You will not be able to enter at the entrance we share with the high school.  If you arrive BEFORE 7 p.m., the entrance near the high school should be accessible.  
  • Sisterhood is still accepting orders for Apples & Honey New Year Wishes … Share sweet New Year greetings with fellow congregants and friends! Order at the Oneg or pick up a form in the lobby.
  • Selichot this Saturday night
Don’t miss this meaningful evening of reflection, prayer, and music with Rabbi Steve, Cantorial Soloist Shir, and the Temple Sinai Choir. The service will include personal stories of forgiveness and a moving “mystical circle of friends.”
We’ll begin with coffee and cake at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Selichot service at 8:00 p.m.
 
  • Tuesday, Sept. 16th • 7 PM
    Join Dr. Alex Kor, son of Holocaust survivors and author of the book “A Blessing, Not a Burden,” for an inspiring evening. Hear his family’s story and, using innovative technology, “ask” his mother—one of Dr. Mengele’s twins—your questions. Free and open to all.
  • Erev Rosh Hashanah Dinner  RSVP Extended to September 17th

  • High Holy Day Food Drive
    Now’s the time to stock up! Between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we’ll collect non-perishable food items in our lobby to support the Jacobson Family Food Pantry. (No glass, please.)
  • Kever Avot Service – Sunday, September 28th at 10 a.m.
    Gather with us at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens as Rabbi Steve leads a service remembering and honoring our loved ones of blessed memory.  
  • Pink Slip Duo Concert – Tuesday, December 2nd at 2 p.m.
    Join Sisterhood at the Delray Beach Playhouse for a delightful afternoon as the Pink Slip Duo share their favorite Jewish songs along with the stories behind them. Reserve your tickets at the Oneg or call Sisterhood 561-276-6161 Ext. 157
