In 1978, after meeting in various homes, a small group of committed Jewish families residing in Delray Beach recognized the need for a Reform Jewish Congregation in our community and proceeded to take steps to establish one.

Religious services for a number of years were held in various churches in the area.  And as a result of a growing membership, the congregation broke ground for its own place of worship on May 22, 1983. Temple Sinai of Palm Beach County was dedicated on August 12, 1984.
