Religious School

Dear Parents,

On behalf of Temple Sinai and the Religious School faculty I am delighted to welcome your family to Temple Sinai Religious School for the 2022-2023 school year!  A Jewish education is a precious gift to give your children.  Judaism will add meaning to their lives, connect them to a community to celebrate life’s successes and root their actions in values of our traditions.

We anticipate that this school year will be a journey of discovery and learning for the entire family.  We encourage you to be active parents encouraging each student to attend regularly.  Religious School instruction will be a combination of online an in-person instruction on Sunday mornings.  Sessions are filled with lively discussions, engaging activities, and creative projects to foster a sense of Jewish identity. Our school affirms both traditional and modern ways of observance and instills a love of Jewish thought and culture.

Temple Sinai has adopted the interactive curriculum developed by ShalomLearning® to help students develop a positive Jewish identity we all share.   The modules incorporate social and emotional learning skills that enable students to build positive relationships and engage in responsible decision-making. Students will explore holidays, history, tefillah, Torah.  We will also facilitate teacher guided weekly individual on-line Hebrew instruction to engage each student.

Further information is available via ShalomLearning®. Please view this at the following link https://www.shalomlearning.org/curriculum/ before the first day of school.

We look forward to welcoming your child into our 2nd  through 7th Grade Religious School program.

Our satisfied families are our best advocates for Temple Sinai. Please share our information with friends who are looking for Jewish education for their children and encourage them to contact us.
